Greetings to whichever unfortunate soul has stumbled upon this LJ.This essay will examine I will attempt to write a bit about myself here...
I enjoy writing a lot - I've been RPing since like before the year 2000, and a few years after that I started getting into writing fiction. My more recent adventures involve writing yaoi fanfiction in the Bleach fandom, which I find to be enjoyable, challenging and rewarding.
Mmm... What else. Bleach is not the only series I like, but it's the only one I am keeping up with at the moment (at least, manga-wise). Other series I like include Naruto, Rurouni Kenshin, Witch Hunter Robin, Twelve Kingdoms, Angel Sanctuary, DN Angel and Death Note, although this is not a comprehensive list.
I like music too, as do most people. I like Visual Kei stuff, which is Japanese Rock/Pop, and I enjoy dance (not so much that hard trance stuff, but some trance, some house stuff, that kind of thing) music too. There's also rock but not the extremely hardcore stuff, alternative rock, pop, classical, Christian, metal, ballad-y type things. I'm a sap for love songs? <3 Call me a helpless romanticist if you like - you might pick that up from some of my writing too. Anyway, might be easier to list what I don't like, maybe; jazz, soul, R & B, reggae, rap, hip hop and whatever trash people are listening to these days.
I am currently a university student, doing a basic Arts degree double majoring in Psychology and Japanese, both of which I thoroughly enjoy. I probably don't spend as much time on my studies as I should, but I don't really prioritise my studies and would rather enjoy myself along the way of getting a degree as well. Future aspirations would be to go to Japan for a period of time, and to work in the academic field - maybe as a lecturer or professor or something (will probably get tired of research by the time I finish everything to want to be a researcher - but experimenting and electrocuting brains might be fun? <3). Desk jobs don't really appeal to me, but anything can happen I guess.
I like my computer games too - I don't play as often as I used to, but MMORPGs like MapleStory, AuditionSEA, Guild Wars, and in the past Ragnarok Online, Runescape, Silk Road Online and Pirate King Online/Tales of Pirates are/were what I usually stick/stuck to. I did get caught up in the Counter Strike swoop, though, so that's fun whenever I get to play that. Didn't quite catch on to DotA, though. Didn't have fast enough internet and am located in a rather secluded part of the world.
I'm very different online than I am in real life, so you may find me more sociable/approachable here than if you were to meet me in real life. That's not to say I don't snark, make sarcastic comments and make everyone laugh from time to time, though.
I'm only filling this out because I don't really talk about myself and my day-to-day life in my journal, and I know some people like to get to know 'mysterious writers' like me a little better. I hope I have provided a little bit of insight into the one named 'LCP', and I hope you enjoy going through at least some of the fics in my journal (and the occasional scrap about life). Am happy to take requests if you wish, and my contact information is available should you wish to talk to me for any reason at all.
